UNCOVER THE BLUE PRINT

Gain a profound understanding of how the brain is built, what truly influences your child's development, and the underlying reasons for the symptoms you're experiencing.

Understanding How Your Child’s Brain Develops
From the Bottom Up

In this first module, you’ll discover how your child’s brain is built and why behaviours such as anxiety, inattention, or sensory seeking are often signs of underlying developmental patterns, not “bad behaviour.” Lara explains the bottom-up model of brain development: how movement, reflexes, and sensory experiences lay the foundation for emotional regulation, focus, and learning.

What you will learn

  1. The four levels of the brain (brainstem, midbrain, limbic, cortex) and how each shapes behaviour.

  2. What primitive reflexes are, why they’re essential in infancy, and what happens when they remain active.

  3. How the eight sensory systems influence calm, focus, and confidence.

  4. Why play, movement, light exposure, nutrition, and environment are powerful tools for supporting development.

  5. How to start recognising patterns and symptoms that signal which systems need nurturing.

By the end of this module

By the end of this module , you’ll see your child through a new lens, understanding the why behind their challenges and beginning to notice the small, hopeful signs of change that happen when we support the foundation first.
